Barrah Siq – Valley Of The Moon – Lawrence Of Arabia Pass
Our guide dropped us off at the top of a sand dune, located in a short valley.
He called this location the Lawrence of Arabia Pass, also known as Barrah Siq – Valley of the Moon.
This pass is where legendary British officer TE Lawrence traveled during the Arab Revolt.
This valley leads to the alleged location where, in the early 1900’s, Prince Abdullah first met TE Lawrence. This is now know the Lawrence of Arabia Memorial Camp.
Michael and I would walk this pass to meet up with our tour guide there.

Looking Ahead
This is pass we walk, taking us to the Lawrence of Arabia Memorial Camp.
Michael walks ahead of me, carrying my sandals. It was easier for me to walk barefoot, as my sandals would scoop up hot sand with every step.
When we reach the bottom, we turn left.
As I stood ankle deep in the sand, this is the view while looking to my right.

This crazy rock formation in the valley looked like the face of a muppet.

Before Us
Before us is this large rock formation. We walk across from it to the Bedouin memorial camp dedicated to TE Lawrence of Arabia.
