Welcome to my journey as a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master of the Usui System of Natural Healing.

Reiki Lineage

My Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage includes Master Teachers – Erica Blackburn from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and Dr. V.P. Rajasekharan from Trivandrum, Kerala, India.

Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Teacher, Erica Blackburn:

I first attained Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Level I, II, & III3A with Erica Blackburn in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

“Erica is a Certified Yoga Teacher, Yoga Life Coach, and Reiki Teacher/Master. She is a fully Certified BodyTalk Practitioner and is registered with the International BodyTalk Association. Erica completes on-going continued education in BodyTalk and other forms of advanced yoga, energy medicine and spiritual development. She is passionate about elevating consciousness and well-being for individuals one-on-one and in group settings. Erica leads speaking events and workshops on how to incorporate more wellness into your daily life. This includes teaching Reiki Attunements (Level 1, 2 and 3 a & b). Erica’s formal education is in business. She received her BBA from St. FX and her MBA from Saint Mary’s.“

Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Teacher, Dr. V.P. Rajasekharan:

I repeated Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Level IIIA and attained Level IIIB with Dr. V.P. Rajasekharan during a one week stay at Carnoustie Ayurvedic & Wellness Resort in Mararikkulam North, Kerala, India.

Soon after this, I returned to the same area of India and reunited with Dr. V.P. Rajasekharan, repeating Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Levels I, II, IIIA & IIIB with him.

Knowing re-attunement is not necessary, I did so anyway with this acharya, this Reiki Master Teacher who has over seventy years of experience with yogic wisdom and elevating consciousness. Because of this, I was able to deepen my own understanding of Reiki, its symbols and attunement processes. 

About Dr. V.P. Rajasekharan from his book “Healing at Carnoustie – Be Your Own Healer.”

“Dr. V.P. Rajasekharan is the resident yoga professor, Pranic Healer and Reiki Master Teacher at Carnoustie Ayurveda & Wellness Resort, located in Mararikkulam North, Kerala, India. He has his PhD in yoga and MD in Alternative Medicine. He also has masterships in as many as ten energy healing disciplines including Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki and Pranic Healing. He is an international trainer of Stress Management through Yoga at corporate level. He served as Head of the Yoga Centre under Central Government in Kerala for twenty years. Dr. Rajasekharan was born into a family of Sanskrit scholars and has had a spiritual inclination since his teenage years that found fruition in choosing yoga as his career. He is a direct disciple of Swami Satyananda Saraswati, founder of Bihar School of Yoga. Therefore, Dr. Rajasekharan yoga teachings are of the Bihar School of Yoga or Satyananda Yoga tradition.”

Reiki Resource

While living overseas in Qatar I had a small Reiki practice.

Now back in Canada, I am working towards having my own Reiki practice in East Uniacke.
