Michael and I went to the Mirissa Beach for supper and enjoyed a splendid evening of dining on the sand and surf.
As we walked along the darkened path, bridges were lit up in decorative lights.

Mirissa Beach at Night
The beach is lined with cafes, inns, pubs and restaurants. At night it’s lit up into a fresh seafood foodie’s dream.
Each location has a display of freshly caught fish on ice to pick from for your supper.
It was fantastic.

Zephyr Restaurant
Out table was a few feet from the water, while the full moon shone down on us.

Zephyr Restaurant – The Food
Michael picked one of the fish for his main entree. I am not a big fan of fish I do not know, because of having to pick out bones, so I ordered a curried shrimp dish. Still fresh seafood, but more my style.
The food was absolutely delicious!

Walking Home
With fully bellies and a happy heart, we walked the beach then the dark pathway home to the cottage we rented for our stay.
