There was interesting graffiti on construction boards.
The buildings were beautiful, reminding us of Prague and Paris, with ornate apartments above little shops.
Some balconies displayed yellow ribbons. These are unique to Spain as these represent a stand in a political unrest happening at this time.
There were many fruit and vegetable grocery shops, lots of gargoyles decorated the buildings, a pet shop called Barkcelona, and gold coloured pigs feet as the decoration outside a restaurant.
