The best way to deal with negative thoughts:

  1. Awareness.
  2. Purposefully make a choice not listen to, or believe the negative narrative about myself or other people, places or things.
  3. Become mindful of my present moment.
  4. Check the facts, shifting to observant, curious intent.
  5. Focus on gratitude and something that makes me happy.
  6. Say a Metta/Loving Kindness prayer for myself and others to cultivate compassion.
  7. Let Go and Let The Universe Unfold
