Don’t Take Life So Seriously
These COVID days are tedious.
Wearing a mask all day isn’t pleasant.
Constant hand sanitizing ruins the skin on them.
Social distancing and cohorts emphasize dis-connection.
While all of these precautions are necessary – life just feels harder because of it.
Having fun, laughing and playing together makes the pandemic easier.
Having fun, laughing and playing together, in general, makes life feels easier.
Smoother. Lighter.
Beyond COVID, life always throws a curve ball.
Seeing the lighter side of these curve balls together creates an easier path through the challenges.
Life is just too short to be serious all the time.
I’m approaching my 52nd birthday and am amazed two years have passed since my 50th birthday in India.
I’m slowly realizing if I don’t enjoy life now, I’m losing an opportunity to be happy.
My husband is ten years older than I am. I want to enjoy every moment I have with him.
I want to laugh, play and have fun with him with any activity like cleaning the kitchen, running errands, cooking or snowboarding together.
Love and life are precious.
Enjoy each other, in every moment, while you can…

Enjoy every moment and live like it is your first day – full of wonderment and expectation of great things.
YES! 🙌🌻☀️
During the COVID. I regularly went to office and remain connected with friends and families.
You were so fortunate. It was very challenging in my life as points of view about COVID, wearing masks and vaccinations were at odds – dividing people and families. I also work in a school and had to wear a mask all day. I hated it. The students had to wear masks all day – and they hated it – it was exhausting telling students over and over again to put their mask on. Then the cohorts at school – trying to keep kids in their classroom bubbles. That was beyond frustrating. I am so very glad that chapter of life is over.
Yes, I was a hard time for many. My daughter was in Germany. She was working on Pfizer Vaccine at Biontech. She persuaded me take the Chinese vaccine. I was not willing to take this vaccine. I got Chinese and Pfizer vaccines too.
Interesting that your daughter encouraged you to take the Chinese vaccine rather than the Pfizer. Thank you for sharing this. ❤️
