Insights On Worry & Inner Peace

Daily writing prompt
What’s something you used to worry about but don’t anymore?

I am not impervious to worry.

I still have moments of fear or self-doubt.

What’s changed is my practiced ability to emotionally regulate and check the facts.

It’s my practiced ability to be skillful and ask myself, “How important is this?”

It’s asking myself, “Am I going to let this (person, place or thing) rob me of my peace?”

It’s reminding myself not to take anything personally – what anyone else does is a reflection of them – not me.

Sometimes this is easy, other times not so much.
