Takes Time To Understand
I think this rule, be attentive and understand what’s not being said, takes time, maturity and wisdom to cultivate a deeper knowing of each other; to understand what’s not being said.
Michael tends to stay wrapped in his bubble, has a lot going on between the lines and doesn’t show it.
I wear my heart on my sleeve, yet am wrapped in my own bubble, still learning it’s safe to express my authentic thoughts.
We can sense when the other isn’t quite right.
Yet, sometimes it’s just too painful to say the words, and what is not being said, says it all.
S, ♥️

Stephanie, I agree 100%. I think in our busy lives, we only listen just enough to reply. We don’t really hear what is being said. And this habit can spill over into our relationships. On the flip side, we don’t always say what needs to be said, either. So, yes, absolutely yes, we need to cultivate that ability to hear the unspoken – I’m still working on this! (I’m also working on avoiding the habit of reading into the silence things that really aren’t there!)
Well said KJ… 🌻💛☀️ I can relate to reading into the silence things that really aren’t there, I too am working on that. 😊
Life should be simple. most of us do not pay attention to our family and friends.
It’s a sad time in our reality, for sure.
