What’s the best advice you’d give to someone younger than you?
The best advice I could give someone younger that me is:
Look up. Get off your phone. Get off all forms of social media. Discover who you are rather than following social influencers. Get a job. Develop a work ethic. Clean up after yourself. Be kind to animals. Practice compassion, humility, and forgiveness. Follow your own values and beliefs. Be your own person, and be respectful to others on their own path. Do your part to help the environment, the planet. Practice mindfulness. Talk less, listen more. Everyone has a personal struggle we probably don’t know about. Hurt people, hurt people. Wear the coat, you can always take it off.

Good advice. I think that was kind of the message us parents over 55 gave the kids, me giving and receiving. The best advice I got from my dad, “if you get arrested tell the police not to let you out, you are safer in there”
