View From the Top – Cobequid Mountains
I had a road trip to New Glasgow and Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
During this cross province drive, I had a spectacular view while driving through Cobequid Mountains.

Five Eagles
As I drove the old, back highways while approaching a small field, I spied what appeared to be a large bird on the ground.
I slowed down. It flew into a nearby tree.
I stopped, pulled over as I noticed five eagles in the tree.
One mature bald headed eagle. Four juvenile eagles.
I was unsuccessful in my attempt to take a photo, as all five eagles flew off.
I did manage to take these photos of the mature Bald Eagle, located a few trees down the roads.

Curious Barn Swallow
While attempting to capture video of the eagles, a curious barn swallow took great interest in me.
Town of Anitgonish

Sisters
I enjoyed time with my sister, Kim, who lives in Antigonish.

Brownstone Restaurant
Kim treated me to lunch at Brownstone Restaurant.
OMG!!! The food was delicious! The grilled cheese was stuffed with a variety of cheeses, sautéed spinach and cherry tomatoes, and jalapeños.
The homemade tomato and basil soup was savoury, so tasty.
Deep fried cheesecake. Yes, deep fried cheesecake. That’s all that needs to be said.
