Recently, I heard about a restaurant that sounded very exclusive. A restaurant only the Uber rich can afford to dine at.
This restaurant is The French Laundry.
So, in my dreams Michael and I would frequent this three – Michelin star French and Californian cuisine restaurant, located deep within Napa Valley’s scenic and beautiful terrain.

The Dining Out Dilemma – Give Us A&W!
Who can afford to eat in restaurants these days!
Not us.
Don’t get us wrong, we love a fine dining experience.
With today’s crazy costs of living, we’ve taken fine dining experiences off our spending list.
For example:
Recently, Michael had a meeting at a well established Halifax restaurant.
He had 1 beer.
With a round up to the nearest dollar tip – $10.00.
$10.00 for one beer.
Outrageous.
When we do eat out, our go-to is A&W’s Beyond Beef burgers!
At almost $40.00 for two Beyond Beef burger combos, can you imagine what it would cost to eat in a restaurant!

And people wonder why I don’t drink lol
Not drinking sure does save us a lot of money!
That’s an interesting choice. It says more about aspiration than appetite. Sometimes the places we admire reflect the life we imagine for ourselves, not the one we live.
