Converse Sneakers Leave Their Mark On Three Continents

Back in 2015, when we were living in Qatar, I bought Michael and I matching Converse Chuck Taylor All Star High Tops Sneakers.

These are one of my favourite pairs shoes that have taken us on three continents: Asia, Europe and North America.

  1. I also love Converse shoes, especially high tops! They are great for travelling, unless you have to remove them at airport security!!

    1. Me, too! Those were the days. LOL! I can’t believe I just wrote that. Time seems to pass so much faster on this side of fifty.

      1. Yes, it does.

  4. I used to have a pair of red Converse as well, but they were high-tops. Turned a few heads when wearing them. I should be on the lookout for a new pair.

    1. From what I’ve read on your blogs, I think you’re a retired teacher – wearing high-top Converse while at work would have made you super cool! 😎

      1. Hahahaha – maybe. lol

I have always wanted a pair of Converse and can’t believe I have yet to own a pair. I hear that they are not comfortable. What are your thoughts, I’m curious?

    1. They certainly don’t offer the comfort level we’re accustomed to in most athletic sneakers. Converse sneakers are kinda flat soled, no arch support. So, yes, not particularly comfortable but fun to wear!
