My favourite subject in high school was drama.
Most memories of drama class are of getting in trouble. The one play I did perform in, when I reflect on a memory where I am outside of myself looking at the stage, is a small part of a mean girl.
During my time in high school, I wasn’t a party girl but did party on my 18th birthday.
A parent called the high school to report this and name us off as a group of individuals who were drinking and partying at a hotel room.
I was called into the vice- principal’s office and asked about this partying, as my name was given and it was my birthday party. Mr. Buck laughed it off, as the fun wasn’t on school property and I was a good kid, as was everyone else at my party.
That same year, during my high school graduation, I (and every one else whose name was reported to the school) received a Certificate of Achievement In Partying, a ha-ha from Mr. Buck.
I wasn’t a trouble maker per-say – I was a good kid who couldn’t focus with impulse control issues.
In hindsight, this is because I was in the early stages of developing Borderline Personality Disorder and Histrionic Personality Disorder.

Get through the day without getting into trouble – it’s a good motto to rely on when going through life 😉
I was part of several amateur theaters, so I get your love for drama (class :P) 🙂
Very cool reply 🙂
Thank you!! 🌻💛🌻 I admire your being a part of several amateur theatres. You’re so correct on our love of drama (acting!! LOL) We both understand our need to “shine like a star” on stage. ✨✨✨ Hopefully, when I retire or my life has settled some, I will take part in a local community theatre…. it would be so much fun and a dream come true in its own way!
