Reiki Principle For Today – I Will Be Grateful For My Many Blessings

5 Principles of Reiki

Just for today, I will not worry

Just for today, I will not be angry

Just for today, I will do my work honestly

Just for today, I will be kind to all living things

Just for today, I will be grateful for my many blessings

I am grateful for morning coffee, sunshine and a sense of inner-peace.

I’m a Reiki Master Teacher of Usui Shiki Ryoho – the Usui System of Natural Healing.

In 2017 and 2018, Reiki Master Teacher Erica Blackburn attuned me in Levels I, II, and IIIA in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In 2019, while in Mararikulam, India, I re-attuned in Levels I, II, and IIIA. In addition, Reiki Master Teacher VP Rajasekharan also attuned me as a Level IIIB Master Teacher.

  1. Reiki is huge in my area. I even took my autistic client to sessions.

    1. If it is okay, where do you live? How did your autistic client respond to the Reiki?

  2. I live in Ohio. My client went to help a medical condition. We tried it for about a year but it didn’t seem to help. We tried massage therapy and that has helped. She is still doing it. When she did Reiki she kept falling asleep…lol

    1. Falling asleep is certainly a common result during a treatment. I’ve visited a few of the eastern states of America. Maine, New Hampshire and New York. New York City was during Christmas. It was spectacular!

  3. We took vacation to New York and I loved it too. We were there on the Christmas Tree Lighting day. You could tell who was a tourist because as they walked they looked up…hahahahaha

  4. Reading the 5 Reiki principles instantly takes me back to my trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. Each day on the trail felt like living them in real life — the crisp Himalayan air helping me let go of worries, the slow, steep climbs teaching me patience and calm, and carrying my backpack reminding me to act with honesty and responsibility.

Meeting locals in teahouses, exchanging smiles with porters and yaks along the trail, I felt the essence of kindness to all living things. And standing at Base Camp, watching the sunrise paint the towering peaks in gold, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for life, nature, and the journey itself.

The Himalayas are not just mountains — they are teachers. Every step becomes a meditation, every breath a reminder to live fully, with awareness, compassion, and deep appreciation for the world around us.
