Reiki Principle For Today  – I Will Do My Work Honestly

5 Principles of Reiki

Just for today, I will not worry

Just for today, I will not be angry

Just for today, I will do my work honestly

Just for today, I will be kind to all living things

Just for today, I will be grateful for my many blessings

I have many aspects of myself woven into the web of who I am.

There is this fine line between defining myself because of my moods or because of my life adventures, experiences and skills.

One day my happy, joyful self is obvious; or another day a heavy sadness weighs me down as I process resentments.

Maybe one day, I feel more like my role as support staff in a Junior High School that a Reiki Master Teacher; or the other way around.

Each day really depends on either an internal process that consumes my thoughts or a learned skill set I am focusing on to contribute externally to my community.

Mix into that, the combined experience of my adventures that influence both my moods and my skill sets.

I am more than my moods.  I am more than an acquired list of experiences, adventures and skill sets.

I am the present moment.
