What do you listen to while you work?

At work, I listen to all the negative self-talk noise that fills my mind. I redirect it with mindfulness and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills.

The workplace – in the public education system – is possibly the biggest mental health challenge for me.

Too many people. Too many opinions. Too many moods. Along with too many cooks in the kitchen.

As a highly sensitive person, I feel it all.

Some individuals thrive around people.

It takes energy from me.

I’m a true introvert who dwells best in a quiet, healing, peaceful space surrounded by nature and animals.
