What TV shows did you watch as a kid?

I watched Romper Room in the 70’s. I remember the exact moment my name was called through the Magic Mirror! My grandmother was braiding my hair for school as I sat at the kitchen table watching the show on the small kitchen counter TV. In that moment I felt SO special!

I also watched Gilligan’s Island. While watching a show, I stuck a piece of purple crayon up my nose. My mother had to bring me to the hospital to get it pulled out. This is what I think of when anyone mentions this television show.

I remember the show Cliffhangers. This show introduced me to vampires.

Space:1999 – Maya was my favourite character. She could turn into a tiger!

And of course, Battlestar Galactica, I loved Starbuck, the pilot – not the coffee (it’s too expensive!).
