When we travel, I enjoy chance meetings with interesting people because I’m not a big fan of social gatherings; I prefer solitude instead.

One such occasion happened when a local bedouin bought our coffee when we stopped at a remote store on our late night drive from Tiwi to Muscat, Oman.

This created a nice memory, a story I tell when asked about our travels.
