This is easy.
If I seek instant gratification by spending money on impulse (a shopper), without following a monthly budget or thought for the future, I might land myself in debt by living beyond my means while not planning to have money set aside for retirement.
If I slow down, create a monthly budget to live within my income, think about what I want to buy and do a bit of research on it (consumer) and set aside money for retirement, I might be financially secure.
I admit, I am a bit of both.
Sometimes I do research on a purchase, other times Amazon makes it easy with one click of a button.
We have fixed assets for our future, and follow a budget.
So, we will be okay.
