What’s the best local dish you’ve ever eaten while traveling?

This was difficult to pick, as we’ve enjoyed many local dishes while travelling.

While savouring my morning coffee, I scrolled through photos to recall a local dish worth remembering.

I chose Hydra, Greece and Mussels Saganaki.

Mussels Saganaki

This was a simple dish of fresh mussels, peppers, tomato sauce, Tabasco and feta.

Yet, there was nothing simple about the flavours bursting through in every bite. This local fare was so delicious, I remember being in awe of it.
