Share a photo of your pet and tell us one thing that makes them uniquely them.
We rescued two dogs from Texas, Pebbles (by the window) and Vinnie (on the blanket).

Both dogs love us, unconditionally, and Vinnie has a special bond with me.
He’s my guard dog.
My protector.
He checks in on me, follows me, wants to be where I am.
Vinnie is a Labrador and Doberman mix called a Doberdor!
- Labrador:
- has a curly coat or duck coat located down his back
- amber eye colour
- an almost obsessive need to retrieve a ball or stick thrown into the bush or water
- a love of water
- Doberman:
- has a black and tan coat colour
- its length, from his back down, is short and smooth
- a lean, athletic body
- an inherent, agile, fast to act guard dog with an intimidating bark who (at times – depending on the person) can aggressively protect our property
- is loyal with a “Velcro” personality and emotional sensitivities
- will sulk when he wants to play because he’s bored and we’re too busy to engage
I’ve had many dogs over the years, none have presented this exceptional protective, loyal nature that shines through with Vinnie.
