The Bible needs a sequel.
While I know this book has deep personal meaning for many people; its my humble opinion on perhaps why The Bible needs an update.
The change would be from its horribly archaic, eye-for-an-eye, misogynistic stories to an updated version where every person is equal; the positive messages aren’t lost in torturous, patriotic male translation.
Maybe then, those who literally interpret The Bible would begin to have an accepting, more open mind about how to treat others, instead of using the archaic stories as an excuse to be self-righteous.
