A few years ago, I located this picture on the internet that captured what my dream horse would look like.

During the later months of 2024, Meg, a heartfelt coworker of mine, and her husband Kevin opened Sunnyridge Equestrian, a riding school in Belnan, Nova Scotia. I began riding lessons there with their Head Coach and Riding Director, Jess Glassford (Coach Jess), a certified and licensed Competition Coach with Equestrian Canada.
Recently, I started riding Tessa. I fell in love with her, as I did every horse there. Yet, Coach Jess saw a good match in us. This encouraged and furthered my bond with her.
Tessa is relatively new to the barn. She’s slowly adjusting, while gradually revealing her personality to us.
I am thrilled to be a part of Tessa’s settling into her new forever home journey.
Then, it hit me the other day.
Tessa looks almost exactly like my dream horse.
She is a mix of Registered Paint with one blue eye, a wild black and white mane, and a splash of white at the top of her long black tail.
This is manifestation in action!
