Huatulco, Mexico – Day 5 – New Year’s Eve – Dinner at Señor Barril & The Sights of Santa Cruz Beach

Dinner at Señor Barril

We didn’t have reservation at Señor Barril, but were fortunate to find one table at the back of the restaurant. We were hungry and ordered quickly. Unfortunately, our order took over an hour to arrive. My steak was tasty, but very fatty. Michael enjoyed his salad. Overall, the staff was nice, but the food left us a bit disappointed.

New Year’s Eve Festivities at Sabor a Mi

The neighboring restaurant, Sabor a Mi had a lavish New Year’s Eve affair with entertainment!

New Year’s Eve Festivities at Santa Cruz Beach

Michael and I hailed a taxi, that drove us to Santa Cruz Beach! This was where the action was! The area was PACKED! The beach had standing space only! Both Michael and I were a bit overcome with the crowds and decided to skip the festivities and return to our Airbnb apartment to bring in 2020 with some peace and quiet!!

Buenas noches & Feliz Año Nuevo!!
