This was an exciting boat ride to two locations! First, to snorkel with sea turtles at Turtle Point; second to snorkel along a reef.

The water visibility wasn’t so great because of recent rains, but hey! Who cares! Sea turtles!

The turtles were difficult to spot, as they camaflauge so well with their environment. But, the two sea turtles that came for a visit were quite tame – used to people! Curious of us just as we were of them!

The one rule was do not touch the turtles!

Michael wasn’t able to join us for long because he had a canker sore that made snorkeling painful. 🙁

Hawksbill Sea Turtle!

We located one sea turtle, the one below, but there was another boat load of tourists following her – so our guide took us to another part of the reef.

Here, we spotted another turtle….can you see her? Difficult to spot her in the murky water – look bottom right!

And then there she was! Our guide Bee offered to take pictures of me snorkeling with the turtles with Michael and I’s GoPro! I believe both turtles we swam with were Hawksbill turtles.
