Netflix in Qatar is pretty selective. So when number 7 of all the Fast & Furious movies is approved….I take notice….
Especially when the franchise has a journey to the Middle East! Â Abu Dhabi….. but hey….if you look closely…..Qatar is red flagged!! Â Very cool!!

So in my excitement of being able to relate to locations in a movie……I had a bit of fun taking more screen shots!!
Yup, this is what typical streets look like, off the main highway in Qatar. Â Now the movie location is in Abu Dhabi, but hey, every day when I drive to work, strip malls like this are the norm.
Pink Palaces/Hotels are the norm here in Qatar. But in Qatar, women in bikinis are only found at the beach – not strolling in the parking lot!!

As the lead characters drove/ flew through the Etihad Towers, seems they wiped out some rather priceless art…..good thing I was able to see the real thing in Doha!!!

Hey! How did that happen? Did someone upload the picture there or did a computer program do that and didn’t realize it was a screen shot and so the reference to artificial stupidity? Or maybe I’m the artificial stupid one? Maybe I should have clarified that it is a screen shot of a movie that is happening in that moment in the UAE and that the hotel in the background seems pink like the Kempinski in Qatar – that is why I captured the image – for comparison.
It is funny that that picture was posted to be a picture of Qatar….when it is so not!
