What book could you read over and over again?

2026

I enjoy rereading Dorothy Sayers’ Lord Peter Wimsey detective stories in order:

  • Whose Body
  • Clouds of Witness
  • Unnatural Death
  • The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club
  • Strong Poison
  • The Five Red Herrings
  • Have His Carcass
  • Murder Must Advise
  • The Nine Tailors
  • Gaudy Night
  • Busman’s Honeymoon

I discovered Dorothy Sayers and her famous fictional detective Lord Peter Wimsey many years ago in a second hand book store I frequently visited.

I would sit on the second story floor, surrounded by thousands of old books, at the base of the mystery section. There, I forgot about the outside world as I entered into the Golden Age of Detective Fiction. I stepped into the life of privilege and wealth of this aristocratic, man-about-town detective known for his keen intellect and powers of observation.

Eastern Body Western Mind

My small collection of books are packed away as my husband builds our dome home.

One of my favourites is Eastern Body Western Mind by Anodea Judith.

I have at least three copies of this book.

As an energy practitioner (who isn’t practicing right now!) this book is my go-to for everything chakras and how they manifest in our body, mind, emotions and spirit.

Once I have my Reiki Studio built and start practicing again – this book will be my reference for all things chakras!
