There isn’t really any one person I know who is truly confident in themselves, comfortable in their own skin, while self-assured in their abilities and qualities.
I know some wonderful, talented people but struggle with maintaining confidence in a society that can wear a person down.
As well, every person has a dark side, hidden fears and insecurities. Some may appear confident, but they hide behind a mask – a facade.
True confidence involves self-awareness, authenticity, resilience and a positive self-perception.
An ability to bounce back with humility and grace.
Confidence is a life-long journey of learning to believe in who I am – while becoming the woman I envision myself to be.
